12th Annual American Reality TV Awards – ARTAS Official Nominations

LOS ANGELES (October 23, 2025) – The 12th annual American Reality TV Awards (ARTAS) has announced its official nominees in 26 distinct categories. The worldwide vote is open now until Thursday, January 8th, 2026, by either texting ARTAS to 76626 or going to http://vote.theARTAS.com

35 broadcast, cable and streaming networks and over 150 reality production companies are represented in this year’s nominations. Leading the pack with 8 nominations is NBC’s American Ninja Warrior. A 7-nomination tie is between MTV’s Jersey Shore Family Vacation and ID’s The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks. FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen and MTV’s RuPaul’s Drag Race garnered 6 nominations and ABC’s Shark Tank and MTV’s The Challenge 40: Battle of The Eras have both been granted 5 nominations each.

Regarding broadcast network nominations, MTV leads the pack with 22, ABC has 20, NBC has 14, FOX and ID have 13, and TLC with 8. Regarding streaming services, HULU leads with 9, NETFLIX has 6 and a tie between Prime Video, YouTube and Peacock with 3 nominations a piece.

Superstar talent Alan Cumming, host of Peacock’s The Traitors, Star/”Momager” of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kris Jenner and ABC’s The Bachelor’s Peter Weber, are also receiving their very first ARTAS nominations.

Some of the most notable winners over the awards’ history have been Valerie Bertinelli, Wayne Brady, Luke Bryan, Courteney Cox, Simon Cowell, Pauly D, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Harvey, Derek Hough, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Howie Mandel, Katy Perry, Amy Poehler, Jeff Probst, Gordon Ramsey, Leah Remini, Lionel Richie, Melody Rodgers, RuPaul, Neve Schulman, Amy Schumer, Sofia Vergara and the late Betty White.

Many pioneers in the reality space have also been given Hall of Fame awards for their reality television longevity, including the original “HBIC”, Tiffany “I Love NY” Pollard, MTV The Hills’ stars Heidi & Spencer Pratt and The CW’s America’s Next Top Model’s original judge, iconic supermodel Janice Dickinson.

Previous hosts of The American Reality TV Awards have been Michelle Visage of MTV’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, Matt Iseman of NBC’s American Ninja Warrior, Jonathan Bennett of Hallmark Channel’s Finding Mr. Christmas, Melissa Peterman of NBC’s Happy’s Place, Rachel Reilly of CBS’ Big Brother 12, 13 & 27 and The Amazing Race, Renee Young of MTV’s Total Divas as well as WWE Raw; ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and Nickelodeon’s Kenan & Kel star Kel Mitchell, Vivica A. Fox of FOX’s The Masked Singer fame and most recently, Heather McDonald, host and ARTAS winner for her podcast The Juicy Scoop w/Heather McDonald.
