10th Annual American Reality TV Awards – ARTAS Official Nominations

LOS ANGELES (June 20, 2023) – The 10th annual American Reality TV Awards (ARTAS) has announced its official nominees in 27 distinct categories. The worldwide vote is open now until Thursday, July 20th, 2023, by either texting ARTAS to 40691 or going to http://vote.theARTAS.com

 

41 broadcast, cable and streaming networks and 165 reality production companies are represented in this year’s nominations. Leading the pack with 7 nominations is NETFLIX’s Floor is Lava, followed by a 6-nomination tie between NBC’s American Ninja Warrior and FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen. PRIME VIDEO’s Lizzo’s Watch Out For The Big Grrrls garnered 5 nominations, as did NETFLIX’s The Mole. ABC’s Shark Tank has been granted 4 nominations.

 

Regarding broadcast network nominations, ABC leads the pack with 19, NBC has 17, FOX with 15, CBS & BRAVO with 10 and TLC with 8. Regarding streaming services, NETFLIX leads with 27, PRIME VIDEO with 12, PARAMOUNT+ with 11 and PEACOCK with 8. A. Smith & Company Productions leads the production company nominations with 23, Fremantle has 13, Universal Television Alternative Studio with 11. Back-to-back Outstanding Production Company winner, Sony Pictures Television received 10 nominations, tied with Amazon Studios. ITV Entertainment grabbed 9 nominations, followed by marblemedia and Eureka Productions with 7 each and a 4-way tie between Bunim/Murray Productions, Evolution Media, Warner Brothers Unscripted Television and World of Wonder, all with 6.

 

Superstar talent David Dobrik, Zac Efron, Morgan Freeman, Selena Gomez, Chris Hemsworth, Paris Hilton, “Judge Judy” Sheindlin, Dan Levy, Lizzo, Demi Lovato, Sebastian Maniscalco, Bill Nye, Jack Osborne, Keke Palmer, Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg are also receiving their very first ARTAS nominations.

 

Some of the most notable winners over the awards’ history have been Valerie Bertinelli, Wayne Brady, Luke Bryan, Courteney Cox, Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Harvey, Derek Hough, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Howie Mandel, Katy Perry, Amy Poehler, Gordon Ramsey, Leah Remini, Lionel Richie, RuPaul, Amy Schumer, Sofia Vergara and the late Betty White.

 

Many pioneers in the reality space have also been given Hall of Fame awards for their reality television longevity, including the original “HBIC”, Tiffany “I Love NY” Pollard, The Hills stars Heidi & Spencer Pratt and America’s Next Top Model’s original judge, iconic supermodel Janice Dickinson.
